Rafis Abazov  - an Executive Director of  Model UN New Silk Way Program and United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) program.
Rafis Abazov is a visiting Professor at Al Farabi Kazakh National University and he has also been a faculty member at Columbia University since 2003. 
 Rafis Abazov’s research interests include public policy, environmental policy, governance and egovernance, democratization and population movement with focus on Central Asia, Afghanistan, Russia and other countries along the Great Silk Road. His teaching interests cover developmental studies, public policy and governance, and modern world history, particularly the history of Russian/Soviet Union and Afghanistan.
Rafis Abazov earned his M.A. in History (1989) and Ph.D. in Political Science (1994).

Vlastimil Samek - a spokesman for the UN Department of Public Information in Kazakhstan.

United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Vlastimil Samek as the Representative of the Department of Public Information in the United Nations Office in Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Mr. Samek, a national of the Czech Republic, comes to this post with extensive experience in communications and public relations.  He took up his duties on 17 August.

Abdul Basit Musadiq is a student of Kazakh National Agrarian University, Almaty Kazakhstan and member of Youth Thinkers' Society – Afghanistan. He speaks in five languages: English, Dari, Persian, Kazakh and Russian.
 
He graduated from Abo Osmani Talqani High school and studied at Kabul Polytechnic University. He moved to Kazakhstan as an exchange student.
 
Since 2015 he have been involved in the MUN movement participating in three international MUN here in Kazakhstan and Afghanistan. He is a deputy chair of Afghan Observation from at MUN NSW.
